The DOXA Documentary Film Festival is a film festival based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It is held annually held in May and is presented by the Documentary Media Society, a non-profit organization incorporated in 1998. DOXA is dedicated to delivering innovative and independent documentaries to Vancouver audiences. The festival has forums for critical debates on the documentary genre via artist talks, essays, and discussions on current topics on documentary filmmaking, along with festival workshops and forums. It also allows young people to take part in DOXA's educational programs, 'the Connexions Youth Forum' and 'Rated Y for Youth'.

In May 2009, the festival expanded to a 10-day event.[1]
